vaccinations and travel

This is a plea for information. I live in Spain and have a 1 year old son, who has so far had all the vaccinations, which are pretty much the same as UK. Having always been very pro-vaccination, I am now starting to reconsider and looking for information. He is due the MMR at 15 months, then another DTP at 18,and MMR at 4 years again. I find it a very difficult decision, and more so because we are likely to live overseas at some point in the next few years. His father is from Colombia, and we will no doubt visit, and probably live there with young children. Our kind of work also takes us overseas. Does anyone know where I could start looking? Gabi

Hola Gabi,

You should get in touch with Dr Xavier Uriarte in Girona and ask for advice. He's a naturopath, teaches at the Universitat de Barcelona and has written extensively on vaccination. He's published a book called " Los Peligros de las Vacunas". His office number is 972 202 803.

Ellen.
